3 Days Across Serengeti Tanzania Photographic Safari

This safari tour to Serengeti National Park from Arusha town is ideal for weekend travelers looking for an unforgettable wildebeest Migration once in a lifetime safari experience in the Serengeti. Day 1: Center Serengeti National Park – Game drive
Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater – Game drive
Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park- Game drive/ Arusha

Day 1: Arusha town – Serengeti National Park.

After early breakfast from your hotel in Arusha town, we head towards the Serengeti National Park, via the beautiful high land farmland of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Leaving the highlands behind, we descend into the heart of wildlife in Africa – the Serengeti National Park – with its endless plains, rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see. We head to the southern part of the park, known as the Ndutu area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park. During the month of December and January Ndutu area is very famous with its huge number of wild beast migration coming from Masai Mara in Kenya side. Featuring the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attracts wildlife well representative of most of the Serengeti’s species. You will be doing morning and afternoon game drive in the southern Serengeti National Park in Ndutu area. Dinner and overnight will be at Center Serengeti Nyani campsite. Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner (FB) will be provided here.

Day 2: Ngorongoro crater
Game drive / Transfer to Kizumba Campsite
We will have an early morning departure from camp to ensure that we arrive at the Ngorongoro Crater descend gate promptly. We will descend into the crater as our game drive with a picnic lunch is inside the crater. The Ngorongoro Crater is an immense, unbroken caldera that was formed when a volcano erupted millions of years ago. The elevated structure encourages the animals subside within the crater which means there is a high possibility of spotting every member of ‘The Big 5’. The powerful group comprises of buffalo, lions, rhinos, elephants. You can expect to see other wildlife including zebra, hippos, wild beast and hyenas. The flamingos will lounge gracefully on the banks of the Soda Lake whilst the vultures can be found scavenging for the discarded prey of a predator. Your trip will come to an end in the late afternoon and we will proceed to Karatu town for dinner and overnight stay at Kizumba Camp. Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner (FB) will be provided here.

Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park
Morning game drive / Arusha town/ Zanzibar
After breakfast at your lodge, you will start your safari at 8:00am, as we drive from Karatu town to Lake Manyara with a picnic lunch. We enter the majestic Lake Manyara Game Park and embark on the last of the 3 days Tanzanian safaris. This small park is sandwiched between the Rift Valley escarpment and the large soda Lake Manyara. It is a pretty location, with a good range of game, including giraffe, elephant, baboon and the rarely seen tree-climbing lion. Afternoon you will be transferred to Arusha Airport for your flight to Zanzibar. (Optional extension)
